We started the shoot right in front of the iconic zebra path that leads through the heart of campus. If you’ve ever been to Stony Brook, you know the Academic Mall is basically the crown jewel—lined with trees, classic red-brick buildings, and that unmistakable university pride.

What I love about doing Stony Brook graduation photography is how personal each shoot becomes. For Abby, we stopped by her favorite study spot near the library steps, then hit the fountain (a true grad photo rite of passage, if you ask me), and ended the session near the Wang Center, where the light hits just right during golden hour. Seriously, it’s like the sun knows what’s up.
